2-wheeled and 3-wheeled kids' scooters

The lean-and-steer mechanism that makes the 3-wheeled children's scooter by Micro Mobility unique, makes sure children start getting to know their balance and coordination from a very young age. The 3-wheeled scooter also ensures safety on the road because it makes it possible to pass street corners slowly. The differences between a 2-wheeled and 3-wheeled scooter is that the 2-wheeled scooter has a kickstand to park the scooter and the direction needs to be given by turning the T-bar. Another big difference is that the Mini and Maxi Micro are made of soft materials which is perfect for small children scooters. The 2-wheeled scooters mostly consist of aluminum which makes it a very lightweight scooter for older children.

Choosing a children's scooter

The choice between a Mini and Maxi scooter depends on the height and weight of your child since you give directions to the scooter by moving your weight to one side or the other. The Maxi Micro is a bigger scooter and is better suited for taller children. If your child likes to speed up and doesn't want a 3-wheel scooter but is still young, we highly recommend the Sprite or Cruiser. Taller and fast-growing children can already switch to a Speed+ or Rocket (wider wheels) that have bigger wheels. 12-year olds that enjoy surfing the sidewalks, would be better off with the enjoyable Kickboards.
